Last Tuesday and Wednesday, me, Jonathan, Jessica, and Heather drove to Richmond to spend some time with Bobby and Bekah!! Tuesday was Bobby's day off, too, so it was great spending the day with him. Bekah is a amazing hostess (and cook!) and made our too short trip very memorable! Just when I thought it couldn't get better than bottled sodas, Segweys, antique shops, eclectic furniture stores, chocolate gelato, a trip to the river, and pool keep- away (in which the girls crushed, thank you), there was fondue...yes, after a long day out, Bek made us yummy chocolate fondue with many scrumptious little dipping things. :)
Jess on the way up
We hung out at Shockhoe Slip, a historic merchant type place in Richmond!!
I don't think I have EVER seen so much stuff crammed into one little antique store...
I think this is funny because this guy walked out of the bookstore right as I took the pic...and he apologized for "messing" up my picture on his way by...
Hey look! It's a $2,500 horse! Real horses don't even cost that much do they?! Just one sampling of the outrageous and interesting things they had at this crazy furniture store.
Bobby on a Segway! They give tours around historic sections of Richmond on these things. Pretty cool.
Ok, raise your hand if you are a nerd...I am. This bridge was so cool. It chronicled the collapse of Richmond during the Civil War.
There were different quotes on the planks along the bridge...
Looking out
Those three major brick stacks on the left, middle, and right just below the modern bridge are what's left of a bridge built back in the 50's. The short, little stacks are part of the original supply line that ran through Richmond during the Civil War.
The girls!
The Boys!

Me and my fav older brother
On the bridge watching these guys do flips and stuff off a rope swing into the river...

I love you, Bobby and Bekah!! Thanks again for such a fun time. We hated to leave, but we can't wait to visit again!!
